TET - the Lunar New Year

Welcoming in the Vietnamese (Lunar) New Year or "Tết” is an important and joyful time at the monastery---the most important festival in Vietnamese culture.  We will focus on informal teachings based on traditional Vietnamese poetic "oracle reading."

Please note that our formal practices of sitting meditation, walking meditation and silent meals are suspended, and replaced with informal practice. Therefore Tết” is appropriate only for those already familiar with Plum Village practice.

6:00 pm Dinner

To register for overnight visits during TET, please register for a Seasonal Retreat.  For arrival dates on Sunday, Feb 3, Monday, Feb 4, Tuesday, Feb 5th, please call the registration office 845-213-1782 for special instructions on how to register.

Thursday - Sunday, BCM will be closed so that the monastics can visit other temples.
